The best way to know the self is feeling oneself at the moments of reckoning. The feeling of being alone, just with your senses, may lead you to think more consciously. More and more of such moments may sensitize ‘you towards you’, towards others. We become regular with introspection and retrospection. We get ‘the’ gradual connect to the higher self we may name Spirituality or God or just a Humane Conscious. We tend to get a rhythm again in life. We need to learn the art of being lonely in crowd while being part of the crowd. A multitude of loneliness in mosaic of relations! One needs to feel it severally, with conscience, before making it a way of life. One needs to live several such lonely moments. One needs to live severallyalone.

FEMALE VOTERS TURNOUT: THE LAGGARDS ALSO REGISTER GOOD LEAP IN 2014 LOK SABHA ELECTIONS

GENERAL ELECTIONS 2014 RESULTS ANALYSIS

There are many states and some union territories where the trend of female voters playing the ‘secondary’ contributor (owing to a number of factors debated for years) in the process of electing the governments in the largest functional democracy in the world, but the outcome in some states, especially in bigger and industrial states like Maharashtra and Gujarat, though still having significant gap in male and female voters turnout figures, is satisfying given the much higher turnout than the last time.

But when seen on a comparative platform with turnout in the 2009 Lok Sabha polls, even these laggard states (on female-electors turnout) have registered significant jump.

Two of these states have been big talking points on governance parameters under the BJP chief ministers Narendra Modi (now prime minister) and Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
