Clad
in bright white kurta-pyjama or trouser-shirt, material ranging from some
low-priced Khadhi stuff to the pricey silk weavings, and a white shoe (mostly
sports shoe) or sandal – the shoe typically would be a Nike in most cases,
though the global sportswear and accessory giant would not even dare to think,
even in dreams, to use this wide acceptance (or use) a sort of endorsement for its premium brand
image – they are the conspicuous presence in society who let us have their
increased presence at times of their heightened opportunism.
The
fitting of the attire depends on the age-group and the taste-buds. Youngsters
with an in-shape body (now, with nothing much productive and meaningful to
do, most of them have in-shape bodies) go for the body-fit shapes.
Those,
in older age-groups and bulky, out-of-place bodies (protrusions and
extensions of a parasitic lifestyle), prefer to go for lose-fits much in
the line of their lives that remain more of cover-ups while leading public lives.
Wherever
they go, they have 15-20 stooges (who try to double up as escorting goons) earnestly
following each of them. Some of them carry firepower to protect their masters
in case of any eventuality (though it remains a debatable point that whom they
need protection from – mostly, it is from their own ‘types’).
They
are the sincerest assurance folks even if they do not have a success rate of
more than 0.1% on their assurances in almost of the cases. They freely
distribute and redistribute their assurances and make sure to make regular
social appearances of few minutes in social gatherings to oblige their ever-eager
base of stooges.
They
are driven in plus-sized SUVs and they believe the whole stretch that is in
their sight belongs to them and must be vacated by others when they chart it. No
Honking may be a serious issue to promote the world over, but they believe they
are above it and blow their horns fully covering the whole extent of the road.
Their
convoy owns the road they take and it is duty of others to take side to let the
masters pass. If some of these ‘others’ don’t budge, they are simply taught
lessons by the stooges. The range of lessons may vary from a flattening of
tires to a severe beating. They don’t follow the speed limits believing it is
not set for them. No don’t see the red-lights believing it doesn’t exist for
them.
Most
of them are products of a rotten education system where they can pass the examination
even without writing the papers. Some of them even become education, higher
education, technical education or industrial education ministers.
They
are the politicians of the badlands of the Indian politics. They are the
representatives of the politics of the badlands of India.
