The best way to know the self is feeling oneself at the moments of reckoning. The feeling of being alone, just with your senses, may lead you to think more consciously. More and more of such moments may sensitize ‘you towards you’, towards others. We become regular with introspection and retrospection. We get ‘the’ gradual connect to the higher self we may name Spirituality or God or just a Humane Conscious. We tend to get a rhythm again in life. We need to learn the art of being lonely in crowd while being part of the crowd. A multitude of loneliness in mosaic of relations! One needs to feel it severally, with conscience, before making it a way of life. One needs to live several such lonely moments. One needs to live severallyalone.

INDIAN POLITY AND THE VALUELESS POLITICOS - THE POLITICAL JAMBOREE CALLED INDIA

Continued from:
TMC PULLS OUT OF UPA: THE MAMATA ANGLE TO THE INDIAN POLITICAL CIRCUS
(http://severallyalone.blogspot.in/2012/09/tmc-pulls-out-of-upa-mamata-angle-to.html)

Yes, sadly pathetic it all is, like the way the Indian politics has been, in heydays of the Indian economy.

Ideology – that happened to be a term. It is absolutely dead for the Indian politicos now.

U-turns and U-turns – shameless, valueless, faceless!

So our dear Mamata didi, though looking and sounding extremely peeved, by the attitude of Manmohan’s government and at misery of the common man (?), left the door to the backroom negotiations open with the Congress party while lambasting the UPA government and Manmohan Singh in the crudest political language possible. Did you say something of ideology?

Following ideology would have been an immediate withdrawal of the support, lock, stock and barrel and not presenting a list of demands to take the ‘final’ decision finally. What she said today of sending the support withdrawal letter to the President should have been done on the day itself she made her bitter announcement.

As for the Congress party, it has seldom been ideological. It can stoop to any low to continue in the office, recent and past history tells us. We have comfortably forgotten the fact that Mahatma Gandhi had advocated disbanding of the Congress party after India got its independence fearing the reasons that stand tall haunting every thinking soul now.

Mulayam Singh Yadav and his Samajwadi Party are the same story. Mulayam has been one of the most famous U-turners in India. He was against the India-US Nuke deal but saved the UPA-1 government after the Left Front withdrew support. He emerged with Mamata displaying camaraderie on rejecting the Congress party choices on the presidential poll nominee only to retract soon supporting Congress candidate Pranab Mukherjee. There are such true stories and stories about Mulayam Singh Yadav and the ongoing UPA-2 crisis just adds yet another feather in the crown.

He chose to speak biting remarks against the UPA government on retail FDI, diesel and LPG moves but never opened his cards, dangling as a trader waiting for the opportune moment to seal the deal. But his clear intentions are becoming clearer now. Though the SP is participating in the September 20 Bandh, it is already hinting of continuing its support to the UPA in the name of secular politics. Its leader Ram Gopal Yadav told to a newspaper yesterday, “This government would have fallen long ago. Many parties share our view on it (corruption, price rise and unilateralism in alliance). But we cannot forget Gujarat riots and how the state sponsored them. We have seen that face of BJP. So, we have to think twice before taking a step lest it helps such forces in coming to power". Moreover, the SP dropped meeting of its parliamentary party today that was called to decide on continuing with the UPA-2 government.

Probably, he realizes it is no game to get all guns against the UPA government when Mayawati is ready to prop it up as she is not looking for an early election. If that be the case, the CBI hunter may cost dearly to Mr. Mulayam Yadav. His disproportionate assets would make every other thing disproportionate for him then.

DMK, another so-called important UPA coalition member has had a history of Tamil and sectarian politics but it is continuing with a government that lets the biggest mass murderer of Tamilians, Srilanka’s president Mahinda Rajpakse, come to India, even if on a personal journey. Training Tamil security personnel in India is a continued thing. It is fully agreed that international geopolitical stakes cannot be equated with related internal affairs and that too, when a bully like China is expected to get benefit from India’s slackness. But what about DMK’s principles then? They should better get off; or they should better be doing state level politics; or be ready to change their kicks and recharge their butts to different sort of politics that may accommodate the changes.

Parties like BSP, RLD, NCP have their origin in political opportunism and it’s foolhardy to expect sincerity from them, of following some principle while doing politics of the country. BSP sees nothing but caste politics. RLD’s Ajit Singh is seen as a ball in everybody’s court provided his interests are met. NCP was carved out of Sharad Pawar’s personal agenda. Once opposing Sonia Gandhi and making it the point to part ways, he is now very much part of Sonia’s regime.

Political opposition is no less in India in following the suit.
