The best way to know the self is feeling oneself at the moments of reckoning. The feeling of being alone, just with your senses, may lead you to think more consciously. More and more of such moments may sensitize ‘you towards you’, towards others. We become regular with introspection and retrospection. We get ‘the’ gradual connect to the higher self we may name Spirituality or God or just a Humane Conscious. We tend to get a rhythm again in life. We need to learn the art of being lonely in crowd while being part of the crowd. A multitude of loneliness in mosaic of relations! One needs to feel it severally, with conscience, before making it a way of life. One needs to live several such lonely moments. One needs to live severallyalone.

SOCIAL INTERVENTION AND FRUSTRATION

Working with the highly volatile fluctuating curvatures of the progress status of big development concepts or social intervention projects while giving equal importance to small assignments and dealing with the frustrating/irritating elements and events!

A discussion centered on being tied down with many small assignments and simultaneously working for the big initiatives intended to promote the social parity; a debate on maintaining the big while giving equal momentum to the small building blocks; believing in the dictum ‘small is the foundation stone of big’

The discussion cropped up during an informal discussion on establishing our first university and the first assignment of the travellers’ network. First assignment of the travellers’ network is planned for this year. University is some years away.

I kept on thinking even after that day’s discussion, about this frustration thing. I looked back to introspect the way I had been on this track of my life that I called a meaningful journey.

Getting scared of big aspirations is what sometimes happens. I know that and I know I don’t get scared anymore for I don’t believe in dreams anymore. For me everything is an achievable target if it is in my stable of planned dots. And I know my limits while I plan something.

I can say I may aspire big but I realize the significance of the cardinal principle of remain connected to the ground. Opening the university, I believe five years down the line, is an achievable target. We can be there if we set deadlines and follow the blueprint.

One needs to understand the relative significance of the type of resources in the development sector. Economic resources are important but equally important are the ground-breaking concepts and a meticulous effort to build the blueprint of the building blocks. We begin with concepts; proceed with arranging and rearranging the building blocks; assess and realize where we need to focus more. Its basically about to get the basics clear that would take us to that beginning foothold.

We will achieve what we are looking for given we keep on experimenting and doing – the rhythm has to be maintained. Failures and ‘not-for-profit’ are quite natural allies. We need to look for the amplifiers that can mitigate the impact of frustrating outcomes by giving us the required alternative windows.

The current age of information outreach revolution equips us with some amazing task enhancers. We have an endless virtual world to exploit as the means of expression, outreach and messaging. And we have tools to gauge the effective addressability of the concept, intended for the real world, routed and multiplied in the virtual world. In short, simulation is now more affordable.

Whenever there is any frustration point, do more simulation exercises. Whenever there is any nagging lapse, try to innovate more with your modeling.

Work like you are not going to take any other option but this one. I have never been comfortable with privileges and I love to earn things in my life. I believe that I have got a life with a thought process that pushes me to do something meaningful and that is my biggest asset.

I know talking empty idealism is absurd. If you have to do something, do it quietly and smartly. It cannot be forced. It has to come spontaneously.

Bank on your intellectual capital. It is a big thing in the knowledge economy. How efficiently you learn to channelize it for a holistic development environment makes you the kind of mettle to lock and unlock the adrenaline rush when it comes to handle the level of mounting pressure and the subsequent frustration.

It is all about working with an honest intent and intelligent outreach practices while optimizing the available resources. Make frustrating issues avenues for creatig stronger and more efficient models.
