The best way to know the self is feeling oneself at the moments of reckoning. The feeling of being alone, just with your senses, may lead you to think more consciously. More and more of such moments may sensitize ‘you towards you’, towards others. We become regular with introspection and retrospection. We get ‘the’ gradual connect to the higher self we may name Spirituality or God or just a Humane Conscious. We tend to get a rhythm again in life. We need to learn the art of being lonely in crowd while being part of the crowd. A multitude of loneliness in mosaic of relations! One needs to feel it severally, with conscience, before making it a way of life. One needs to live several such lonely moments. One needs to live severallyalone.

LIGHT, THOU ART THE HEALING. LIGHT, THOU ART THE SOUL.

Obama announced new resolve to combat the HIV-AIDS menace. Wish it would set in motion a series of initiatives that will help fight and eradicate the virus. Wish it would cause some puritan thinking away from the global geopolitics of HIV-AIDS.

Reports on the World AIDS Day say it’s more of a manageable chronic infection and not a life-threatening one now. World Health Organization (WHO) says, “Increased access to HIV services resulted in a 15% reduction of new infections over the past decade and a 22% decline in Aids-related deaths in the last five years.”

But reports warn of complacency, one thing that is feared – a direct outcome of the global geopolitics of HIV-AIDS in holding, releasing and distributing funds. Funds need to flow for at least a decade for the LIGHT OF HEALING to SPREAD.

Let’s see what a Guardian report says “The gains made on HIV have been overshadowed by the decision last week by the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria to cancel all new funding for the three diseases until 2014. A similar disregard for health spending has been demonstrated by world leaders gathered in Busan this week to discuss aid effectiveness, indicating that developments at the Global Fund are symptomatic of a wider trend for global leaders to take their eyes off the ball with respect to health.”

Much has been said and debated in last few months after HIV-AIDS completed its 30 years in June this year and hopefully, sanity will prevail. Obama’s words need to be the beginning; beginning of a life of dignified days for people, who for no reason, face the social stigma; beginning of a phase of healing.

Life finds its flow. Light finds its intensity.
