The best way to know the self is feeling oneself at the moments of reckoning. The feeling of being alone, just with your senses, may lead you to think more consciously. More and more of such moments may sensitize ‘you towards you’, towards others. We become regular with introspection and retrospection. We get ‘the’ gradual connect to the higher self we may name Spirituality or God or just a Humane Conscious. We tend to get a rhythm again in life. We need to learn the art of being lonely in crowd while being part of the crowd. A multitude of loneliness in mosaic of relations! One needs to feel it severally, with conscience, before making it a way of life. One needs to live several such lonely moments. One needs to live severallyalone.

'THOUGHT OSAMA' – THE SYMBOLIC ARMAGEDDON

The bigger war lies ahead. Like notorious notables (in the league of Hitler), Osama is now more than a name--a name potentially hazardous to the human existence. The man Osama was dead long ago, after US went after him with full thrust. The thought Osama kept on percolating, and will still percolate. The battle is to kill the name, to kill the ways he adopted. But on the face of it, silly overtures have started with some morons of public relations proposing equally moronic ideas like conspiracy theories of 'Osama using women as human shield' or 'Osama offered to surrender'.

The fanatics who follow the 'Thought Osama' are never going to take it. They kill fellow human beings. Human values don’t exist for them. Pity America. Pity Pakistan. Beware Humanity!

We need to be even more alert now. After all, even after 65 years, we have not been able to eradicate the Nazi movement. In fact, some recent reports suggest regrouping is on the rise. And there are more of such types.

Not any form of religion based terrorism, but the deepening radical fundamentalism may well be the next 'Waterloo' point!

History tells us it has always been a thought, be it embodied in a person, or embedded in a group movement that went on to cover large swathes of ‘follower human psyche’ to define and redefine the transition of human civilization through the ages. ‘Clash of civilizations’ is its most natural corollary and will remain so.

The ‘person Osama’ was as insignificant as any radical among the bunch of terrorists operating from their rat-holes. He could never face the might of the mightiest – the only remaining superpower or we say the US way of life – the only manipulator of geopolitics at the moment. He could survive for 10 years after 9/11 as it fit the US strategy to manipulate and influence its global dominance.

What went wrong was the embedded ‘thought Osama’ – now manipulating and influencing terrorist groups spread across the globe.

And it was reason enough for a ‘promising but struggling to prove himself’ US President in Office to gift his countrymen one of the biggest symbolic victories after 9/11 and lifting his profile to prepare and project himself more credibly when he takes on the electoral battle for the next term.

Yes, ‘killing Osama’ is symbolic victory for the humanity in the same vein as it is symbolic loss for the extremist elements and there lies the threat that we all should be worried about. And we need to be because this symbolic loss symbolises their most desperate urge to tell they will remain there!
