every moment that passes has a message but we tend to distort the guide of the moment to the tune of our thinking that it becomes irrelevant..we misinterpret individuality then but we seldom realize..but the message remains the same..we need to go beyond..alas! we seldom go..
The best way to know the self is feeling oneself at the moments of reckoning. The feeling of being alone, just with your senses, may lead you to think more consciously. More and more of such moments may sensitize ‘you towards you’, towards others. We become regular with introspection and retrospection. We get ‘the’ gradual connect to the higher self we may name Spirituality or God or just a Humane Conscious. We tend to get a rhythm again in life. We need to learn the art of being lonely in crowd while being part of the crowd. A multitude of loneliness in mosaic of relations! One needs to feel it severally, with conscience, before making it a way of life. One needs to live several such lonely moments. One needs to live severallyalone.

वाणी, गीत और मैं
वनवास पा गयी है
अबोध शिशु
उंगलियाँ पकड़े जा रहा होगा
बच बच कर,
डर डर कर,
चुडैल दिशाओं की दृष्टियों से
मेरे पास क्या बचा है
जिसे लेकर तुम्हारे समारोह में
सम्मिलित होने आऊं -
आँखों में तस्वीरों के खँडहर
संभाले पहुंचा हूँ
किसी तरह
अकेला,
मरघट से मरघट की दौड़ में
यातनाओं के कफ़न में
स्वयं को लपेटे
किन्तु कल्पना की यह करतूत
अब भी
चुहलबाजी से बाज नहीं आती,
गुदगुदाने लगती है कलियों को
जानते हुए भी कि मेरा
बाज़ार में सब कुछ लुट गया है
आज
मैं उसे तब तक के लिए
तिलांजलि देना चाहता हूँ
जब तक
अपनी खोयी वाणी
खोये गीत को पा न लूँ -
अवसान की इन सीढ़ियों पर
कहीं-न-कहीं
सूरज की एक किरण
मुस्कुराएगी, दपदपायेगी
ह्रदय के किवाड़ खोल कर ।
तपस्वी मैं नहीं हूँ
जानता हूँ -
सत्यवादी हरिश्चंद्र मैं
नहीं बन सकता वैसा
ह्रदय पर पत्थर रख कर
जो पत्नी से बिना कर चुकाये
टस से मस न हो,
प्रतिबद्धता की यह कैसी
शर्त है कि
वायदों का ख्याल
पिंड नहीं छोड़ता ।
आज वे
दुराग्रही परंपरा की
बेड़ियाँ टूट चुकी हैं
पांवों की
अपने आप
शर्तें चिपकी हुई हैं
कंगाल ह्रदय से
यह कैसी विडम्बना
मोह की भूमिका में बुनी गयी है
उसके ताने हुए तम्बुओं में ।
शहनाई का खोखलापन
बज रहा है झन-झन
न्याय का संगठन
भाव-भंगिमा लिये
पूर्वाग्रह का चक्र नचा रहा है
मैं किसका उलाहना
बन कर रह गया हूँ
इन घड़ियों में,
परछाईं जो भागती नहीं दिखती
जड़ जमाये
अडिग खड़ी है,
अलग मुंह बनाये
सपनों की वीरान गलियों में
जब वाणी
निर्जन प्रदेश में दूर कहीं
भटकती थक चुकी होगी
एक हाथ से
पेट की ज्वाला को दबाये
दूसरे से अपने गीत को
वक्ष से लगाये
लोलुप ठोरों से उसे छिपाये
आँखों में चलती होगी
लगातार पनचक्कियां
और वह पेड़ की ठंडी छांह में
विश्राम ढूँढने
एक घडी, सिर्फ एक घडी
रुक गयी होगी
वहीँ छाया ने
चुपके डस लिया होगा
मेरे गीत को
मेरी शात्वना के शावक को
ठहरो,
देखूं तो सही
पुनः इन आँखों से
जो विकलांग स्त्री
सामने खड़ी है आ कर
वही तो नहीं है वह
जिसे आँखें हेरती आयी हैं
अब तक,
मैं उसे पहचानता हूँ
वह मेरी शैय्या है,
परन्तु मैं
उसका हरिश्चंद्र
कदापि नहीं हूँ
और हो भी नहीं सकता
क्योंकि उसकी शर्त
मुझे कभी मंजूर नहीं
नियति की भूमिका में
कथा जस-की-तस
मान ली है मैंने
मेरा गीत
पुनः कंठ में उभर आया है,
आवाज़ पैनी हो गयी है
तीनों, यहाँ मिल गए हैं
सृजन के क्रम का
अध्याय नया
अब यहाँ से
आरम्भ हुआ
जाना जायेगा ।

THE MOST CERTAIN EVENT IN LIFE IS ALSO THE MOST UNCERTAIN ONE!
We die but we never know when.
And we always try to run away from the only perceivable truth of our existence.
Life has been rendered with terms like pain, suffering, consciousnesses, self ‘external us’ ‘internal us’, knowable, unknowable, ‘scientific modalities and spiritual ramifications’ and many more, all linked to the god ‘self’ or an entity said to be sometimes ‘within us’ sometimes ‘beyond us’.
Why do we make ‘religious, spiritual’ or some ‘beyond normal’ references and connotations whenever we discuss, think or mention god?
It is said a god cares for its followers at every step. It cries with its followers whenever they cry. We are said to be followers when we accept whatever that happened in the pursuit of coming out of this pain and misery. Thus, the faith that had started shaking, starts coming back.
Isn’t it believing in something supernatural for the sake of coming out of the pain and accepting the life as it was, not thinking why it was so, why of this ‘why’ and what it can be?
What about questions (very pertinent ones) that had cropped up naturally again to be watered down by a system of belief that we inherit mostly?
We once again allow that rare opportunity of life to forego our claim to know the real truth of existence, if there can be any!
We talk of material and spiritual but we have plenty of writings and sayings that define material as beginning of the journey to the spiritual. So the material is not separated from the spiritual. The difference is just the relative one. Hinduism is perfect example. Vivekananda justified idol worship and thousands of deities at the World Congress of Religions in Chicago with this very tenet.
We have created contradictions and contradictions.
If god is within us, how can it be beyond us?
If we can feel god by looking inside us, why can’t we find it outside us when it resides in every minutest entity of this ‘creation’?
Whatever that happens is for good and ‘god-given’ and yet we ascribe events with terms like ‘pain and suffering’ and look to god to relieve us!
It is said everything except god is delusion including our very own existence and yet we say that entity is nowhere else but within us. Don’t we deny its existence then?
The most talked about and the most agreed upon universal religious tenet is ‘there is one supreme entity or almighty and we all submerge into that losing our identities’. It is said the ultimate goal is to be on that path and remember it begins from us. It is said we come from it and we go to it. How can it be ‘maya’ then?
Post-modernism may be a word of recent history but it is ingrained in the human civilization since its very inception. We see and perceive things, try to describe them in order to develop or not to develop some sort of alignment. The basic psychological dilemma of reaching ‘anyhow’ to an aligned state of mind with conflict creating incidents running parallel to our existence leads us to accommodate whatever is happening. We don’t agree to but we accept it in the name of ‘god’?
But why?
We seldom get answers and we keep on believing.
If god is within us, why can’t it manifests in a common perceivable form, if not always, then at moments, when you really need it, and not forcing you to accept a situation just in its name?
Why can’t it give you the soul healing with your questions answered? And, at most of the moments, it is not able to give you that ‘healing feeling’.
God cannot be seen, but can be felt, but even this psychological need remains unfulfilled most of the times when it is needed the most.
Some may agree. Most will disagree. But aren’t these questions that we need to find answers?
Relativity of certainty of death and uncertainty of life and the intertwined conundrum of thoughts that leads us to raise questions!
But, again, relativity of raising questions and seeking answers is highly screwed in favour of the former!

WHY DO WE BELIEVE IN GOD OR SOME SUPERNATURAL ENTITY?
All the known history around some supernatural entity revolves around these words only and it is true across the table. Do we inherit only or do we assimilate values related to these words before adopting a mindset towards some 'almighty' natured entity? We talk about feelings to sanctify this trust but these feelings are at most derived ones and not the evolved ones. No one has seen and no one can see and no one should claim to see that entity. And, yet most of us depend on it and this dependence brings the handicap of constrained consent of accepting everything in life as it comes. But, all of us, cannot justify certain events in our lives in the name of this entity. All that happens in life is not for good.
Its true we all define god as we think but it is mixed with body of knowledge and societal norms that we inherit. In commonality, god is someone beyond limits of this world yet we all, all the time, talk of it. Again I would say just bring even one pure person who can verify her/his claims of feeling/encountering god. There will be no one, yes, except the tall claim making godmen. There comes the term supernatural entity for what we define as god, for we look for to be with god, for we seldom feel for god as someone a family member.
Love, sorrow, pain, happiness, anger, peace, these are basic psychological human traits and mankind is bound to be circumnavigated by these only. If we don't talk about individual preferences, then we cannot escape any of these mental states whether we believe in god or not. My question remains the same that how do we come to believe in god or some supernatural entity as i have more questions than answers I don't feel sorry for it now?
